When my girlfriend and I reminisce about our experience at Sundance and take a drive down El Camino we refer to it as "crap dance". The steaks were dry, the service pretentious and horrible. It was a chore to get our water glasses refilled. Noted as one of the best places for Stanford students to take their parents, well, we did, and we were largely unimpressed. I'd rather opt for one of the sidewalk cafes on California avenue then drop big bucks on steak. Specifically, the New York Strip was fattier than usual and the Filet was small and unfortunately very dry. The sides were good - spinach, potatoes - but when you see people who sit down after you get served before you it's frustrating. I would not recommend this - spend your money elsewhere.

Sundance looks better than it tastes. The service was politebut slow, and the steaks were not up to par. Personaly, I would much rather have a Henry's steak, but seeing as the one on el camino has been closed, I am left with Sundance. I would not recommend this place it is too pricey for the quality of thier food.
