It's with great excitement that I enter the race to serve on the Undergraduate Senate. If elected, I'll advocate for academic, social and political initiatives that benefit the Stanford community. Through serving on University committees with administrators and participating in student organizations, my involvement at Stanford has exposed me to top issues facing students. Among these are increasing faculty/graduate diversity, decreasing VSO costs, increasing Acts of Intolerance awareness, improving communication of funding policies to student groups and making student spaces like Old Union more conducive for individual and social use.
